We're back - and on a Mission!
After the disappointment of having to pull out of the 3 Peaks Yacht race last year, Team Laura is now more determined than ever to complete the race in good order in 2007. Laura, based in Holyhead, knows the way to Scotland now and and has put many sea miles in over the last few months.
Laura is a 40' Sovereign 400 Class yacht built by the Skipper and co-owner Richard Stain in his back garden in Mobberley Cheshire. Fortunately for the crew, for who the term D-I-Y raises a certain level of concern and caution Laura is fully certified and fit for purpose.
This year, we are supporting the Charity Wilmslow Wells For Africa. This is a locally based charity for us, which provides direct action by supplying wells, pumps and water collection equipment to many parts of Africa.
